Dreamer, Dudleyz, foreign markets

UK based 1PW this afternoon sent Wrestlemag.com the following short statement direct from their website, based at www.1p-w.com: 1PW can exclusively reveal that ‘The Innovator of Violence’, Tommy Dreamer, will be making a very special guest appearance at ‘A Twist of Fate’ on Saturday October 1. We have no details as to what Dreamer will do at the show, although in a conversation with 1PW Officials, Dreamer said that he plans to take 1PW to the Extreme in Doncaster. Stay tuned for further information.

Per the LAW radio show, D-Von Dudley reported the deal to go to All Japan Pro Wrestling was "almost done." In a previous interview with audiowrestling.com, Dudley stated it was important for the Dudley Boyz to go Japan to be properly compared to teams such as the Road Warriors.

Because they didn't renew their contracts and since they didn't renew the creative team didn't start on a storyline for them and since they didn't have a storyline they didn't renew their contracts. Yes it's supposed to go in a circle like that. More simply stated they didn't renew because they didn't have a storyline and the creative team didn't want to give them a storyline until their renewed their contract.

I would think that they'd tell Bubba Ray and D'von that so they'd renew their contracts and get a storyline. I mean, it doesn't have to go in a circle like that, it just did.

You don't just release a person because u don't have a storyline for them, at least not someone as popular as the dudley boyz. Here's a storyline that they could have used, The dudleyz run out to the ring and beat up MNM. Problem fixed the dudleyz are now in a storyline.

True, so maybe there's more behind the release? But in any case, I think it was stupid to release two great superstars like the Dudleys.......I miss them.

Well three if you count spike. I never liked him too much until i went to a smackdown! house show and saw him wrestle live. It was him vs. funaki vs. chavo vs. scotty 2 hotty. (funaki was cruiserweight champ and it was for the title, like a title would ever change places at a house show. Except for that one time with christian and booker t but seriously) Anyways scotty and spike were on the outside of the ring and spike was trying to run away from the match because he was a heel at the time. Well scotty wasn't having any of that so he dragged spike back to the ring. But it wasn't how a wrestler would normally do it. Scotty grabed spikes creepy beard and draged him down the ramp back to the ring. I just thought it was the funniest thing and after that i respected spike dudley a little more. Ok I know that was kinda long but i really liked that part of the show lol.

Spike was cool sometimes, not often but sometimes. I liked him just because he was so scrawny but nothing stopped him. He used his brains to control his brothers and from there it was brains over brawn.

I liked when spike would run on top of people. I always thought that was cool for some reason.

See, Spike was cool because he was so small, kinda like.....no, nevermind.......

Anyways, since he was scrawnier, he could do things that the bulky wrestlers can't, so he keeps it more interesting.

yea except now he's gone. I bet if they do another ECW ppv that they'll bring the dudleys back for it. At least bubba and D'von. I think it would just be wrong not to.

Definitely, Bubba and D'von were two of the biggest names in ECW, they have to come back if they do another ppv, it wouldn't be right without them.

Hardcore Tag Team matched belong to the Dudleyz. They should get royalties whenever someone advertises a hardcore tag team match. You can't do it with out them that would be like doing an ECW show without Tommy Dreamer

unfortunately i dont think the wwe feels this way, otherwise the dudleyz would probably still be wrestling in the wwe.
