It's okay Ash, when I first went to that page it confused me too. I figured they'd list all topic to like 20 or something and then start page two... apparently not.

Don't be too hard on yourselves guys. You only just started the forum it'll take us all a little while to figure out how it works exactly. Like how long after a post is made will the topic still be open? If we don't respond to a post for like 3 days when will you mark it as being closed? Or have we not decided that yet?

I say, the post will remain open for a week or so, and then it should shut down. Then, if we have something more to say on it, we'll just start a new post.

I just wanted to let all of you know instead of deleting the topics i'm going to just close them this time. I think this way no one will lose any of their posts. You know where it says how many posts you have. We'll see what happens but I think this will work. :)

Yep, even though you closed the mhardyzgurl site topic, I still have my same post number.

I like that a lot more than them being deleted, and our numbers going down!

Yeah me too. I worked hard to get this many posts. It's hard to get posts this high and still say something constructive to the topic. Aside from posting dumb things like "I like cheese" the only other way to keep them up then would be to post a different

Sure we will, we all saw Cloud post the stupidest things. Like, 'i have an idea for something for bad merchandise which I will post in my next post', and then in his next post 'here's my idea............'

That got on my nerves, and I'm not afraid to say it. And I know Countess agrees with me, 'cause we've talked on it before.

And here I was trying to be sneaky. I'll admit it bugged me especially over at the guild message board where he'd have three different posts all posted within 2 minutes of each other. Just say it all at once dude, we'll read the whole thing I promise. I mean its one thing if you post a correction or just forget to say somethng but when you turn it into spam its annoying.

Not even for corrections, because you can go back and edit your own posts, so there's now no need for those annoying, *(whatever word was wrong) posts.

Well my posts went down too but I dont think it's a big deal how many posts you have. Just like at the guild people are always worried about their posts. It's not a big deal.

I think people know how active you are without watching your post number. You can tell who does a lot just by reading through the forum.

exactly what i was trying to say. Plus just the people who are actually in the forum you know are at least a little bit active if they actually went to the guild (HUH?) and noticed there was a forum.

Well i just got littleanglelisa to join but she hasn't posted anything. I also got a few other members to join a while back but they don't post anything either.

As for zackattack i told him about it and he didn't really say anything.

Yeah well don't promote their rank if they don't participate in the forum. Or like bribe people if they get over a hundred posts give them an item or something like that. Just make sure the posts aren't spam.

see that kinda thing never works. Too many people would just spam the whole time. All you would see is like posts that say stone cold is my favorite wrestler -post 1

I think, the only real way to get them to post is to keep asking occasionally, not like everyday, cause they'd just get pissed off then, but every now and then, just to remind them.

As for getting people to join. Maybe an ad for it at the neopets guild site would help out?
