I know I like Jericho too. He's yet to renew his contract and many people think that if he is too quit that TNA would look quickly into hiring him allowing him total freedom to tour with Fozzy.

Chris Jericho wants to set the record straight.

With various outside sources reporting that Jericho has yet to sign a contract extension with WWE, the former undisputed champion made sure to contact WWE.com and denounce those reports.

“I signed an extension on Monday in Cleveland at Gund Arena,” Jericho said. “I’ve been working with WWE for six years and I’m not going anywhere.”

Jericho, who didn’t want to disclose specifics regarding the contract, signed a short-term extension this week and said a longer extension is likely still in the works. Jericho still has big plans for his band Fozzy, but doesn’t expect his musical career to interfere with his job as a wrestler.

“Fozzy isn’t a factor at all,” Jericho said. “Things with the band are going great and WWE has been really positive with Fozzy. We have some great opportunities overseas with the band, but none of that is going to hinder my time with WWE.”

Thankfully Jericho is saying that he should only be gone about a year and then will make his return. That's prolly why they drafted Carlito to Raw because the highlight reel just got canceled. I will miss Jericho, but Jericho really shouldn't quit his day job. He will make more with wrestling than he EVER will with Fozzy. Bad move.

I agree with the Cloud comment, that's one of those things where you read it and go, 'what?', like Countess verbalized.

Hopefully, what Jericho comes back, they'll do something bigger with his character, 'cause he's been getting nothing lately.

Jericho will probably be huge when he comes back. He has a pretty big following now and he is a likable character. Jericho has a lot of charisma. Hopefully what happened to the Dudleyz won't happen to him where they had nothing lined up for his return and he'll get fired. I'm gonna miss him he was one of my favorites for a while there. He was actually my favorite up until Eddie won the WWE Championship. Then Eddie took over................ God I miss Eddie as a face character!!!!!

Well, you know what they say, absense makes the heart grow fonder, so hopefully Jericho will have a big return....and... I just miss Eddie's cars, I loved those!

Yeah me too. His cars were always so pretty. But Jericho will have a big return. It'll be cool when he comes back. He should just really get away from Bischoff.

I miss eddie's cars too but at least now we have the mexicools and their awesome rides lol. I actually like seeing them come out like that each week.

My favorite thing about the Mexicools, besides Juvi, is how Psychosis comes out with different extensions everyweek, and each week they get worse. It makes me laugh.

The pimped out lawnmowers are cool. I like the mexicools. I wish they'd get more official matches and actually start a fued with someone though. For now they're just sort of..... there. They wander with no purpose.

His hair extensions scare me. They are kind of there without a purpose though. I liked the thing with the food though lol. I wanted those nachos soooo bad.

I agree, they need to be put in a fued with someone. I think they were going to do something with Hardcore Holly, but Juvi went and pissed him off, so that ended.

I dont think I would want to see a feud all that much with Hardcore Holly. They need to feud with another cruiserweight. I think that would make the most interesting match for now and then later go after the big guys like Batista.

The mexicools should take on MNM. Juvi and Melina can fight over who has better hair.

Yes I agree juvi would win for sure. I think MNM needs to get rid of the blonde streeks in their hair. To me it makes them all look like skunks.

Yeah..... it's kinda weird. What's with the fur? I didn't realize that fur coats where cool in an arena thats like 110 degrees. When did that start? I really miss Carlito talking about MNM that was funny.

See...there you go, a reason for the Mexicools to fight with MNM, they stole Juvi's fur coat idea, I mean, granted, his was bright orange, and theirs aren't but still, it's reason enough.

I just dont like mnm's gimmick that much. Or maybe it's not the gimmick just the direction the gimmick is going in. I think it works for melina but not for mercury and nitro. It makes the two of them look extremely gay. And everytime they come out i just keep thinking "God, I can't believe I voted for that guy to win tough enough..."

Yea i would hat that too but she's probably happy to just get her chance. If she can actually wrestle it kinda stinks that she's on smackdown! If she was on Raw we could have some good matches. On sd! i think the only person that can wrestle is probably melina. It would also be good for her to be on raw because eventually they might want to get rid of that ugly thing on her face. They could have kane set her on fire at some point in time and it would burn the creepy thing right off.

You know what would be hilarious? If Jillian was in a match with someone and the thing fell off while she was doing something in the ring. I can see it now...
