Its that time of year. Backlash comes to you this Sunday. And we have a full card. So this is the time to make your predictions.
Ric Flair vs. Umaga - Ric Flair. I'm probably gonna be wrong because the WWE really wants to push Armando Alejandro Estrada, an OVW talent, and Umaga, formaly Jamal of 3 Minute Warning. But you can't go wrong with cheering for the Nature Boy.
Carlito vs. Chris Masters - Chris Masters. Again, probably gonna be wrong but it's about time they made Carlito a face. I'd like to see him break the Masterlock but I want Masters to win because if done right, this could be a long fued.
WWE Women's Championship Mickie James (c) vs. Trish Stratus - Mickie James. A former TNA talent, James has the in-ring ablility to make this fued go a long ways. Plus, how many other divas are actually wrestling now?
Kane vs. Big Show - Kane. Probably going to be a short fued that will end at Backlash when Kane beats Big Show. It's nice to see Kane back as the psycho. They should team him with Mickie James. They'd make a cute couple.
Winner Take All Match: IC Title vs. Money In The Bank Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Rob Van Dam - RVD. Coming off his 3rd Wrestlemania victory, RVD will win the IC Title for the 6th time and will retain his Money in the bank and head to ECW's One Night Stand and the Number 1 Contender.
Shawn Michaels & "God" vs. Vince McMahon & Shane McMahon - HBK & "God". Quite possibly the worst match idea of the night, HBK will prevail over the prodigal son and the founder of McMahonism. There have been rumors that "God" could be former WWE Talent Mordeci. Having a short stint as the "Right Hand of God" back in 2005, he went back to OVW to sharpen his skills. Might be the right time to bring him back.
WWE Championship-Triple Threat Match John Cena (c) vs. Edge vs. Triple H - Triple H. No need to explain my reasoning. Cena will make his heel turn either at Backlash or shortly after but he won't be champion when he does. And Edge, he's just there to make Cena look better. But the King of Kings will retake his throne at Backlash.
So there you have it. This years Backlash laid out and my predictions. Just copy and paste the card and put in your own predictions.
I'm not sure that i'm actually writing predictions. I think it's more of that's who i want to win so hopefully they wil...
Ric Flair vs. Umaga - Ric Flair. That's who i want to win because Flair is still awesome and always will be. I kinda think Umaga will win just because he's knew and having him win is a good way to get him over.
Carlito vs. Chris Masters - Carlito. I want Carlito to win even though just a few weeks ago I would have said Chris Masters. I also think Carlito will win because the WWE has more interest in him right now than masters.
WWE Women's Championship Mickie James (c) vs. Trish Stratus - Mickie James is going to win. I'm almost positive but you should all know that I'm for Trish.
Kane vs. Big Show - Kane. Obviously he's going to win because they need to get people to go see his new movie and if he's a loser that might not happen. I also want him to win because I don't really like the bigshow.
Winner Take All Match: IC Title vs. Money In The Bank Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Rob Van Dam - I'm crossing my fingers that Shelton Benjamin wins but this match is a toss up for me.
Shawn Michaels & "God" vs. Vince McMahon & Shane McMahon - HBK and "God" is what i'm thinking of. As much as I love HBK i'm really not very interested in this match.
WWE Championship-Triple Threat Match John Cena (c) vs. Edge vs. Triple H - The Game! I don't think the WWE can keep Cena on this title run much longer. Too many people are getting mad already and Cena's had the title long enough. It's time for a change and I can't stand Edge so it better not be him.
